I’m excited to share the upcoming new single from acclaimed Pittsburgh guitarist, singer-songwriter, and mindfulness educator Patti Spadaro. Her new release, “Mystic Misfit,” arrives June 12th (available for airplay now!) blending soulful rock, jam-band improvisation, and introspective songwriting into a powerful message about authenticity, balance, and human connection.
“Mystic Misfit” merges Patti’s musical world with her work in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Featuring expressive lead guitar work, flowing melodies, and deeply personal lyrics, the song explores finding your center while embracing what makes you different. Patti describes the track as “dreamy yet fully awake,” with themes of unity, self-discovery, and higher awareness woven throughout.
The release follows Patti’s critically acclaimed single “Glass Shatters,” which charted on the UK iTunes, Independent Music Network, Cashbox, National Radio Hits, and World Indie Music charts, while also earning international film festival recognition for its music video.
Patti has shared stages with artists including Melvin Seals & JGB and opened for legends such as Eddie Van Halen and Little Feat. She will also be touring with the all-female Grateful Dead band Brown Eyed Women this summer.
